CMAS (Colorado Measures of Academic Success): Science and Social Studies

Students in grades 4 and 5 will be taking the CMAS assessment this year (school year 2014-15). Fourth graders will be taking the Social Studies test and fifth graders will be taking the Science test.

There are some practice tests (practice tests are called ePATs) available on the Pearson website. It's a good idea for students to take the practice tests to get familiar with how the test works.

Click here to access the ePATs (Electronic Practice Assessments).

For each grade, you will see an ePAT Guide and then the ePAT. Students in fourth grade will click on this link under Grade 4: "14-15 TN8 G4 Social Studies ePAT". Students in fifth grade will click on this link under Grade 5: "14-15 TN8 G5 Science ePAT".

Students will be working through some sample test items at school. It is encouraged that parents work with their child on some practice test items so that students are comfortable in the online testing environment
